Twelve
close friends gathered to celebrate our client’s
birthday just after Christmas. We served canapés
of caviar with soured cream on mini blinis and croustades
with pate quenelles and onion marmalade. Coffee and
chocolate truffles completed the meal.
An Edinburgh architect invited
15 friends to celebrate a 40th birthday with a weekend house party near
Braemar. This menu was the main dinner; other meals included a fork supper
with drinks on the first night, a late breakfast and an extensive afternoon
tea.
This dinner for 26 was served
for a group of Ivy League lecturers and undergraduates who had been staying
with families in the Highlands. They entertained their hosts to dinner
before returning home. The haggis was home-made and most had the soup as
well.

Our client was a partner in
a leading, international firm of lawyers with offices in New York, Washington
