Originally
self-taught John took over the cooking at the restaurant
he owned when the chef departed. He quickly gained
his own reputation for interesting, stylish and carefully
prepared food. John is an instinctive cook who's passion
and relaxed confidence shine through in the kitchen. |

| Moving
on to a new venture in the Scottish Highlands John
developed an enviable catering business, which he
sold to his largest client in 1997. Shortly afterwards
he took up freelance cooking to indulge his love of
the finer things. |

John
cooks for private clients, including a number
of well-known names, in some of the grandest
homes across the UK.

Because
he specialises, John
has developed the skills essential to working with
discerning clients in their own homes. He enjoys
almost exclusively bookings from established clients
and referrals, which tells us that he continues
to provide the quality of cooking and top level
service his clients expect.
